How to light a room

Light faces first. Decoration comes after people can see each other.

1. Step 1

   Turn off harsh overheads if the room allows it.

2. Step 2

   Add warm light at table height and along the path in.

3. Step 3

   Leave the speaking area brighter than the rest.

4. Step 4

   Dim once, before guests arrive, and leave it.
